Play, sports and games

On Gilwell Ada’s Hoeve we have a special field for playing, sports and games, called: Gulden Roede. Gulden Roede is next to the river the Vecht, so water games are also a refreshing option.

A couple of the games we have available:

• Jeu de boules (A well-known international holiday game. We have a couple of sets available, so you can play it with larger groups.)
• Softball / baseball / strike ball (If your group has 16+ people, than strike ball is a recommended activity. We have all the materials except the bases. Bases you can create yourself or you can rent pions.)
• Volleyball / soccer (We have a large amount of balls in all kinds and sizes. So if you are short, rent a ball at the reception. We also have a volleyball net available.)
• Badminton / tennis / beachball / table tennis.
